Air kite
An air kite is a battery operated, remote controlled flying
device. They are made from lightweight materials and incorporate a tail
fin and a spinning propeller. They can be flown relatively easily, requiring
only a modest amount of practice.
An air kite often incorporates LED lights for night flying. Once the
sun has gone down, these little devices can look quite out of the ordinary
as they fly past unsuspecting onlookers. It is important, however, that
the pilot stay within range of the radio signal in order to keep the
kite from crashing.
Once piloting has been mastered, an air kite is capable of performing
very complex maneuvers. Steep dives, stalls and loops are all commonly
performed by these devices. As the pilot becomes more proficient, trick
combinations can be achieved as well.
